If you have gaming friends, pirate or history loving family members, a co-worker that loves Indiana Jones, a classmate that looks like Smee... please Share this project with them! We all win the further this thing goes, and while it might seem like just another Kickstarter book to you, I'm an independent creator with one part-time employee (I just increased his hours thanks to you guys! And THANKS Allan!) and sharing this with a few other nerds that wanna sit around a table a drink rum while their characters die on pirate ships would mean so much to me!
Stretch Goals
I cannot wait for you guys to play this game. It is SO fun. I have lots more to say about previews, upcoming events, a large West Marches campaign we plan to run, Cons, and more, but I will save those for down the road when you've all forgotten you backed this!!
Here are the new stretch goals.
- 50K will be huge for those of use that play online as I will work with a developer to create a system for Foundry and a character sheet for Roll20 so you can play online in true pirate fashion.
- 75K will be a "deck" of digital cards with all the ships, equipment, monsters, etc. I'm going to look into having a link you can click to just buy them from a card printer. We won't be adding printed cards to the campaign in the interest of logistics, but you can print them at home, use them as handouts in VTTs, or get real cards printed. I might have these manufactured down the road, but for now they are digital! If you are familiar with Limithron's Guide to Naval Combat for 5th Edition, they will be similar to those ship cards.
- If somehow we get to $100k, I'm going to draw a detailed, top down old parchment map with no labels on it for Black Coral Bay, the island in the adventure. This will either be shrink wrapped with each book, included in your shipment standalone, or be included in the book as a tear-out map. It will have lots of points of interest that aren't detailed in the book so you can let your GM worldbuilding skills fly, or use the whole island as a treasure map!
- For $125K I'm going to include twice as many maps in the Map Pack add-on, and probably make some new variations just for Pirate Borg. More locations, more ships, ghost versions of ships, taverns, stuff like that.
- The last two... it we get that far lets just say rum is on me!
